Meet Mike and Judy Briggs, owner/operators of Wine Kitz in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Background:

Mike’s passion for wine was kindled over 28 years ago, when he was involved in creating the winelist for a hotel run by his parents on the Channel Island of Jersey. He has been learning about and making wines for over 20 years, and holds a Wine Professional designation from the prestigious Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers.

An active member of the Atlantic Chapter of the Association, Mike, a former IT specialist, and his wife Judy, a retired nurse, finally took their passion for wines to another level by opening the Wine Kitz Moncton store. Both Mike and Judy are well-travelled and well-educated about wines, and they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their enterprise.

 We chose to get behind the Wine Kitz name because of the quality of the product and the legacy of the company. Wine Kitz stands alone as a leader in the industry, with its’ commercial-quality wines consistently winning contests and accolades. We want to be a valuable resource to the novice and experienced winemaker alike, and we stand ready and willing to help with your next winemaking endeavour.
